Xavier was pretty cool as vampires went. Almost as cool as my sire, my mentor, Angelus ( Read more... )

The digital age, man, I didn't like these cell phone contraptions, but I got on it anyway and dialed up Xavier, the zenking, and friend of mine, who was devouring some beauty that he had just screwed, when I called.

"They are here, Xavier? What do you want me to do next?"

He told me to follow them and to let him know the minute that they left the hotel and that he would send some men to test her, and that I wasn't to engage in any way tonight.

That was a pity, because I could just take her out myself right now, her and her old man, and then he wouldn't have to go through all of this trouble.

Still, he had a fascination with slayers and generally because of Angelus' grooming, I tried to avoid them, but now I found myself at the window of their room, peeking in. I was glad that they were on the first floor and it had to be said. This slayer looked good enough to eat.

I had to crouch out of the way as she came to the window.

As I watched her look out into the night, it became odd to me that Angelus would want to stay away from these girls, these slayers.

She didn't strike me as a daunting foe in anyway and really only made me kind of horny.

I watched as she walked back and accepted tea from her watcher. So beautiful, their touching moments. I wondered how he would feel when she was dead.

Maybe I would have to ask him.

Sitting there watching them was boring. Surveillance was good and fine, but I fancied myself more of an action guy.

I know that Xavier wanted me to keep tabs on them, but it looked like they were both going to sleep.

I wondered if slayer and watcher knew that vampires generally were out at night, and if they were planning on doing something to us during the day, that they would be exercising futility.

I got bored, and decided to ignore Xavier's orders for a little while. My stomach was rumbling.

I knew that Xavier frowned upon the killing of people in his country, but exceptions could be made for the likes of me ( ... )
