For sure you've heard of monsters - hairy beasts with an unpleasant look and large teeth. But those live in fairy tales. And how about modern monsters? Ever heard of those?
I can't believe that this happened in my town...In my part of town. The news is old but the story didn't die mostly because of the inhumanity of what happened. Mother, son and victim. Want to hear the story? Sure you do. Here goes~
Victim marries son and moves in with his mother. All is well for a certain period of time. But then weird shit starts happening. Victim's mother, no matter how many times she calls, can't seam to get her daughter on the phone. She's always busy, or not there, or resting. Victim's mother finds this strange but decides to ignore it. They just got married anyway, they're probably having fun. But then people start noting strange occurrences. Victim and the mother of her husband go shopping and while so they sit in a local café to have a drink. The mother orders coffee while victim not only pays the bill but has...water. A measly glass of water. Society decided to ignore it. Lastly the neighbors started noticing strange happenings. The victim no longer exited the house, the woman was no longer seen and no one heard a damn thing. I'll cut it short - the ambulance came over to their house and found the victim strapped to the bed; beaten, bruised, bloody, broken and dead. She had been like that for over 15 days. The mother, whom had means of controlling her son thus ordering him to assist her, had been beating her for days. She had not given her food or water. The victim died from pneumonia, excessive bruising, dehydration, hunger and whatnot [pick one, if not all]. The point is - no one noticed a damn thing. O.o
In court the mother showed no remorse for her actions [while her son broke] and further more she claimed she was helping the victim and taking care of her! The case is still not closed but no one can come up with the reason for such an action. Sadistic pleasure? Deranged mind? *shrug* But for fucks sakes, this happened under our noses!! x_x Sheesh!! Jeez!! This word is out of control! o_o Seriously. I've got no comments, I really don't.
So let's just skip over to the happy subjects. :o
My Christmas was horrible. I puked out my entire stomach [and that's not very nice, ya know x_x] so go take a guess how much fun I had on my holydays. Woohoo! -_- Fortunately I got better by the time New Year came by. But due to unfortunate events my best friends weren't there to spend it with me. But I had no less fun, that's for sure. I went down to the docks at 11:30 and by all means, it was a freakin' war zone! 0_0 Fire crackers going off in all directions. But not the small ones, no-no. The big mega ones that go KA-BLAM and make you want to duck for cover [my head felt very unsafe in that period of time o.o;;;]. The concert on the main square got better later on but since I already had too much champagne and vine and whatnot, I went home. But the fireworks were great!! Awesome!! The best shit ever!! *__* The sky was completely illuminated in green and red colors. As if it wasn't night at all!! AWESOME!!! Too bad I don't have any pictures but it was AWESOME!!!....Yeah. Happy 2007 xD But I have to admit, the celebrations in NY and London took my breath away.
The worst case scenario - My favorite manga-ka continues a work of hers that was previously thought to be finished. And way is that bad? Because, due to the thought it is finished, no one will continue scanlating it x_x WOE IS ME~~~!! This is really unfair. I get teased with images and smexiness and plotline which I will never be able to read DX If only I knew here to acquire raws! IF ONLY¡¡¡!!! But I don't know and thus I am deprived. Kaori Yuki, why must you be so enigmatic to the scanlation population?¿ It hurts the fans, fans like me who can't order your manga from Japan because I don't understand Japanese. DX! Unfair! Unjust! Unacceptable! I flicker of hope is still hanging on with me but... It really seams I have no choice. If more of her work does not get scanlated, I'll start getting online courses of Japanese X_X As if I don't have enough to worry about with school and my oh-so-lovely 15 subjects. I roar! I rampage!! And I have an urge to watch Kill Bill to calm myself!!! *fumes* .... No, seriously, someone please scanlate more of her work!!
