Write a short scene set at a lake, with trees and shit. Throw some birds in there, too.

Thats pretty funny.
Actually, I am pretty sure that number 3 was the prompt used by the person who wrote an entire series of books that I had as a kid. There were about 20 of them covering all kinds of famous , heroic-type, people throughout modern history. They are the reason that up until about age 10 I really thought the likes of Eleanor Roosevelt and Jackie Robinson were aided by tiny, invisible helpers. I spent many a sleepless night trying to figure out how the authors knew so much about the invisible friends of so many famous people. (Also, how did Mr. Rogers hear me when I answered his questions on TV??)
My parents refered to these as the "White Books" (They were all hard-bound in white with drawing of the people and their "friend" on the cover)and dreaded the days I would beg them to read me the uncomfortably long, hokey and boring stories. They were a hand-me-down set from my older cousin and my parents made sure to give them back to him when he had kids so he too could "enjoy" reading them aloud to his little ones. Sick.

Hey, I don't know you, but I totally had the same books! They were pretty awesome. I think Confucious was my favorite.
