He didn’t like the way he looked at her like some sort of precious treasure. In fact, just the thought of his tainted hands on the young woman made him want to put a bullet through the creature’s head immediately.
Oblivious, Yuki never seemed to really grasp just how the man looked at her with his sad boy eyes and his gleaming charismatic smile. But he could see it all. And it literally burned him from the inside out.
Damn the fucking vampire.
“Kiryu?” Zero’s head shot up at his name and he was met with burning brown eyes that made his chest heave in irritation. “How are you feeling...with everything?”
He always seemed to draw out his transformation into a vampire like a curse to his name. One of which actually did feel like a curse.
“None of your damn business.”
Yuki came up, her eyes gleaming happily at seeing Kaname. “Hey, what are you guys chatting about?”
“Nothing.” Kaname murmured as he touched her arm gently, “Let’s get going shall we.”
All Zero could see was red. And all three of them falling into damnation, with no way out.
