Quickly, she headed off to bathe, careful to not be followed.
Fifteen minutes pass interrupted. She relaxes, eyes closed.
Branches snap. “Who’s there?” She stands, covering herself with splayed hands.
He steps out, hands up innocently. She growls. “MIROKU! What are you doing?”
Defensively, he gives up a good front, for maybe a two year old. “I merely wished to be blessed.”
Confused, she asks. “Blessed?”
Nodding, he continues. “It is said that if you watch an angel bathe, you will be blessed in life. You wish me blessed right?”
Kagome, surprised, stutters. “Y-yes?”
“Excellent.”
