A. Well as to the first point, not really. To be more specific, I think it's strange that ALL the companions seem to fall for the Doc. I can see a few falling for him, after all, probability would have a few doing so. And the situations that they find themselves in could lend to a close relationship that might be misconstrued for love. In short, yes I can see some of the companions falling for the Doc, but not all.

B. Would be very strange, yes and icky if she were to fall for the Doctor so I'll say, I hope not.

B. I really wish Georgia the best and it would be icky for her to fall for a character that her dad had played and had played in the recent past.

Nice sentiment and so true.

Part of me, in a really lame way, kinda wants there to be a small wiff, so that when the wank hits I can be all, 'Dudes WAAAAAAY ahead of you!'

A little childish perhaps, but Damn it, I'm never first. :P

One thing I liked about the old series was the variety of relationships he had with his companions. He was a mentor, a best friend, a guardian, a boss, and many other things. I'm really hoping Donna doesn't fall for him. It was okay the first time, and him being blind to Martha's crush was fine. But once more, it's stale and irritating.

Okay, I thought it was just me who raised an eyebrow when Susan and Five met on screen....

This is why I'm kinda hoping RTD will be bowing out soon, I have a lot of respect for the Guy I do, but it's time for some new blood.

Nope not just you , lots of eyebrows met hairlines at that moment. ;)

For the record - that was a spoiller to me. I don't mind tooo much, but it's the sort of thing I would regard as spoillery and would appreciate being behind a cut ( ... )

I'm sorry sweetheart, that Bit of news is all over the place, I'm honestly surprised that you hadn't heard.

I do sometimes get a bit wound-up with some Spoiler-phobes esp when it comes to things like,
'Actor X has got an unknown part in an episode we know nothing about.' Which is then met with:
"OMFG, I so Didn't know that, now my whole enjoyment has been ruined because of you bitch, Use a F*cking Cut next time!!! So Rude." *Flounce*

I know that's not you, but I do tend to get all *Eyeroll* when I see comments like that.

Don't worry any other post that has anything more will be cut. :)

Yes, It's completely understandable that shareing the amazing adventure with this incredible man would make you got a little Swoony, even, dare I say it, over Six *Shudders*. But thats such a long way from, I-love-you-and-will-never-never-leave-you-because-our-love-is-true-and-forever-OTP!!!!11!! There goes the formatting :DEight/Grace was great and John Smith/Joan Redfern completely believable, as is John's not falling for Martha (Sorry M but ( ... )

However much you may have seen it around, it's still worth being careful. I'm a stickler for spillers most of the time. Sometimes I stick my head in for Who anyway, but I like to have teh option, you know?

I think Martha and the Doctor would have worked - it made more sense to me than Rose, but at the end of teh season when Jack was all with the love as opposed to the lust too, that was a bit... ugh. Yeah. If they're not going to do it well they really need to give us a break.

Yeah I realise that now, and as I said above any more news of this nature will be carefully tucked away.

Still friends? :|

Martha and The doctor would have been interesting to start with, but then she did start getting a bit emo about it and I was all, sweeties, you're a smart early 20's med student, not a silly teenager, you can do better. *Hugs Martha*

A. Indeed - well, I'm sort of sick of it being so obviously portrayed. I've they said to an actor (Billie, or Freema, or whomever might pop up in the future), "look, we want to show your character as having a romantic connection", and had that as something that they approached in the role, and was hinted at in the script (which I think was sort of portrayed with Rose in season 1, in my opinion), I'd be more for it. This image of every woman who steps inside the TARDIS falling head over heels for him is getting a bit far fetched.

B. I suppose that depends on Georgia's attachment to early Who. Like, if she was raised absolutely adoring it (which I'm sure she was!), it might be harder for her to play it like that. Though, I'm sure she's a great actress who could deal with that situation with ease, and not let her own squick get in the way of the part - but really I'd hate to see her have a thing for the Doctor.

A Yep I agree with that, and as Rhube an I discussed above, I little swoony, plausible, Full love, Pur-lease.

B According to her and Peters interview on Richard and Judy, she used to get upset when Five would get hurt. I think Daddy-Doctor is something that her Brothers mostly say, which made me realise...

It wouldn't just be odd for her if her Charecter fell for the doctor, but how would it make her Brothers feel to see it?

Wrong, wrong, brimming over with wrongability!!

Thanks for the imput.
