I'm actually planning on going to this convention, but I'm not sure if I'm going to stay there the night because Birmingham's only maybe an hour and a half from here.

Hmmmm, very tempting. This would be quite close to my birthday, which I can't decide if that's a good thing or a bacd thing. I suspect it will also heavily depend on my finances, especially as my housemate has confirmed that she will be moving out some time this year (but not when!).
