Kie pottered around the house, sharing a few private moments with Chris before flicking the TV on and setting himself down on the couch, petting the sofa next to him for Chris to join him. Chris laid her head on Kie's shoulder and smiled a little. She was worried about Nicky too, but it was nice being cuddled with. Just as it would be nice to have Nicky here too. "I'm hungry," she said with a little laugh. These days she was ALWAYS hungry.

Kieran laughed softly, pressing a kiss to the top of her head; "Nick's bringing sweets and gherkins, I promise. How the hell did you manage to eat a WHOLE jar in less than a day?" he wrinkled his nose and laughed more. Gherkins weren't really one of his favourite foods, especially when she ate them with biscuits.

Pregnancy was VERY strange, which reminded him to ask his Mum later whether she had had any weird cravings when she was pregnant. And his Aunt Dawna too.

"Oh, he's about to be my favourite person in the WORLD then," she grinned. "I was HUNGRY Kieran. And they taste SO good. ESPECIALLY when you eat them with sweets." She actually moaned a little at the very thought. Though even she knew she'd find it revolting were she not pregnant.

She cuddled even closer. "I know you think it's disgusting."

Kieran pouted even though he knew she was just teasing; "Gherkins...and sweets...do NOT mix. Ever. They just DON'T," he pulled a face and shuddered a little.

He wrapped his arms a little tighter around her and kissed the top of her head again; "Damn straight! I wonder if Mum or Aunt Dawna had weird cravings?"
