...so that was an actual earthquake that woke me last night? What the hell? I thought at first it was upstairs being noisy, but I remember thinking "no Sarah, because even they can't shake the walls like that" and went back to sleep. Paul, of course, didn't even notice when I asked him what the hell that was.

Wow. I'm quite gobsmacked.

Yeah earthquakes can be like that.

Ours normal happen at night or in the morning and I've learnt to just roll over, never had one last long enough to have me drag my arse out my nice warm bed!

Yeah, I wasn't prepared to get out of my bed either! It didn't last all that long anyway.

Indeed. It was a 5.2 on the Richter scale, which is quite big for UK, I think. It woke me up and had me wondering if I'd actually just dreamt it XD

The epicentre is actually in Lincoln, which is quite much nearer to here than Liverpool. It seemed quite strong here.

Yeah I can't believe how strong it felt here too. It was so strange feeling the walls sort of shake and there was this roar like an underground train or something. I was so confused, but went straight back to sleep anyway!

Nope, slept right through it XD

However I was awake at 4am and felt a slight tremble, apparently there was an aftershock at that time... I just assumed it was a big lorry going past the house ^_^
