So how many people nearly had a heart attack when Cas was about to get out of the car for his date with Nora and Dean said, "I can't let you do this." LOL

I wasn't real pleased with Dean's behavior toward Cas in this episode, but I appreciate your observation that they had a ton of time for makeup sex. ;D.
And yes, Cas was kinda hot here, and I don't even like babies.
LOL yeah not a fan of babies either. And I still really miss the goddamn trenchcoat. But by the time Dean was done with him, Cas had some serious game!
But yeah, Dean... it was the first time I actually yelled at my television. 'HOW DARE YOU SAY THOSE THINGS WHEN YOU WERE THE ONE WHO LEFT HIM ALL ON HIS OWN! DON'T YOU DARE! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT!' ...so on and so forth.
I guess Cas as a human brings out my protective side. It's that scared kitty look he gets in his eyes! It's just so goddamn adorable! It makes me want to hug him close and shield him from the world... and have i mentioned how I am so not maternal?!
I think the writers are turning Cas into a poor shadow of himself and, while I understand he has to go through some changes due to his human status, I think they're doing an awful job of it. I miss the suit, I miss the backwards tie, I miss the trench coat, but most of all I miss the BAMF Cas used to be! Just because he's human now doesn't mean he's a total waste-toid and he can certainly maintain his badass stature human or not. It's criminal what they're doing to his character; I can hardly stand to watch

Here's what I don't get about Revolution... with all the amazing creative minds behind it, why is it SO CRAP? I watched the first three episodes and simply could not continue. And I'm usually very forgiving when it comes to my TV.
...I guess that's a good thing when it comes to Supernatural. I survived the dubious season 6 and 7 with very little complaint, but now even my patience is stretching. The OZ episode was the first episode I've ever thought 'that was crap.' Like Revolution I don't understand how something that had all the right elements behind it came out so badly?
But it's still early season. I'm still hoping this is all just slow setup to a huge storyline that will carry us all the way through to Season 10. ie Cas needs time to build himself up from the bottom before he's BAMF again. Last year we were all complaining about how Cas needs to find his own place in the world, and maybe now this is what we're getting :s As frustrating as the episode may have been, there were still inklings of the idea that Cas has to forgive

Amen to this. Thank you for saying my thoughts out loud, except maybe the Kripke part. I don't think he would make any difference. I kinda miss Edlund, though. At least season eight was better than this.
Yeah, Season 8 felt like it had a definite plan and story to tell. So far season 9 feels like filler / stretching / stalling / reaching into the bottom of the barrel for script ideas. I was hoping this episode would kickstart things but alas, no :(
