So I went and saw Atlas Shrugged yesterday with my friend Scott. The movie was just okay. Though well acted and true to the Ayn Rand’s book, it suffered I think from poor direction. It's certainly worth to watch, don't get me wrong. Wether that be at the theater or on video. It's just that to me there are definite flaw in the way the director chose to adapt the story.

The thought I had was that it breezed through a few things that ought to have deserved a mention. Technically it lacked polish, but the acting for the principles was good, but wooden for the supporting cast. ;/ The building of the rail road was fascination in and industrial sense, and it really made Colorado look Beautiful. The problem was the "John Galt Line" inaugural run was anti-climactic, when it should have been triumphant. Compard to the book the movie made the right points, but was breezy, and shorted the dialogue I thought and the cinematography was.. average.

Worth Netflix, but I'm not sure how much you need to read the book or not.
