I On the other hand LOVED The Hills Have Eyes, and for the same reasone you sited as misses. Why?

Because It had the balls to go there, I am a HUGE horror fan and there is nothing saddr then a movie that can't ever take that extra step.

Every thging they did made the villians Just that Villian, I wanted them to die, and every thing they did made me sit right at the edge of my seat cheering on Doug as he brutally killed them, I mean When he flipped that pick axe over I literaly cheered.

It's an a movie like this were I finally feel that the hero is justified buy doing these things, after what he went through he snapped, Had they not had the rape, the shooting the tit sucking he would have been nothing more the a Psycho WAITING to kill people.

that said, the origenal is far tamer, hell the reason the crashed in it was.. .get this TO AVOID A RABIT!

The reviews: I haven't really wanted to see the Hills have eyes, and I still don't think I want to. You're review was helpful in making some judgements about the movie. I'm not interested in seeing another 'Wrong Turn' or 'Jeepers Creepers'...a small part of me really HATES the mutant-killer approach to horror. >.> somehow I get the impression that 'the hills have eyes' is different than the typical mutant-killer movie. The buzz around this movie feels different...perhaps this movie has acheived a new level of shocking gore? ANYWAY~ I don't think I'll watch it, ever. Thanks for the reveiw.

SNAKES ON A PLANE! I'm really glad you managed to see it and write a review. I really want to see Snakes on a Plane but, I was always on the fence about how good it would be. The title of the film is really grabbing people, I'm no exception.

Now that I know it's not just a title, it's also a legitimate film, I can go see it with comfort in the fact that I can enjoy the ride.
