I've been playing with the idea of writing a Persephone story. Unfortunately, the one idea I liked sounded like Holly Black fanfic.

Lol, yes, apple of the earth is the literal translation for pomme de terre.

I thought it was so cool that I decided to name a book after it and potatoes happened to have nothing to do with the story.
