I'm hoping the Hanakimi remake is closer to the manga. The original drama was too corny for me to even watch. I don't think I managed to get through all of the 1st episode. And I'm hoping Maeda Atsuko is a better actress than Horikita Maki.

Megane-chan (don't know her name LOL) is playing Haruhi?! :O
She was pretty good in Yankee-kun to Megane-chan. She and Narimiya Hiroki had really great chemistry in that drama (although I never got around to finishing that 'cause it got too campy for me).

How's Tiger and Bunny?

(On Hana-Kimi) I think I saw everything but the last episode or so..I don't remember. We watched it in anime club. I read a few volumes of the manga. I liked it but maybe I was a little bored and I didn't like it enough to follow it to the end.
I hope so too. I don't really know what it is but I don't really like Horikita Maki (her acting?). I'm kind of wary though because Maeda Atsuko is from AKB48..hmm.

Tiger and Bunny is entertaining. Frankly, I'm a little disappointed with it. The first episode really raised my hopes that maybe it would be something like another Cowboy Bebop or "classic anime" and it had this potential but then it just got episodic. Also, Barnaby (Bunny) is a huge douche and has no redeeming qualities from what I've seen so far.
But it's still fun and pretty. It's worth watching.

Yeah, it's definitely Horikita Maki's acting (or lack of acting). She was terrible in Kurosagi, too. I think the manga started to drag badly where I left off... like the manga-ka didn't want her series to end. Same reason I couldn't finish Parfait Tic.

I think I'll check Tiger and Bunny out. It's sad that it became episodic. I usually don't like episodic series. I couldn't get though Jigoku Shoujo because of that, especially when every episode followed the same formula and became predictable after an episode or two (like Pokemon). :(
