Hello, I just stumbled across this community and I'm so glad that I did.  I adore jt leroy and it so doesn't matter who wrote what, the work stands on it's own.  The first thing I read was the treehouse story and it has stayed with me ever since.  Does anyone know if anything after Howard's End has been published?  I would love to read any short ( Read more... )

You might want to try to find 'Lockers'. It's a pretty nice story.

Oh I like that one too. You can hear it read by Tatum O'Neal on The Best American Non- Required Reading 2003 - cd.

Harold's End, if I wrote Howard's End I would have different legal problems then I have now. :)

Oops, been looking at too many Helena Bonham Carter/Sweeney Todd pics I guess. Thanks for the cupcake link. I'm so sorry that you are in this legal mess. Your writing has been such a gift, thank you so much for sharing it. Is there a place that you post links to the stuff you're publishing? If not I'd love it if you posted here. Thanks again and take care. :)

What is there to forgive? Honestly. I have been thinking about this on and off forever. Personally, I love the creation of jt leroy. The writing is amazing, but I've gotta admit, I loved the character equally. The interview with Michael Pitt, the blog, and oh my god that Dave Grohl interview killed me. I'm sure I'd be hurt and embarrassed if I had been purposefully misled as an individual, but as a reader you have nothing but my appreciation. In my opinion the creation of the boy was truly the work of art.
