Poem - ghosts

once one has tasted
the lover's sweet caress
and felt the heaven
in the slumbering arms of your love
there can be no going back

any return to the lonesome nights
spent wishing, spent mourning
is a rebirth to sorrow
and the haunting of every morn that breaks
by the wandering ghosts of her touch

All the entries that have titles beginning with "Poem - " are entirely my own work. On my first post, I quoted Shakespeare, and I posted a Wallflowers song once, but everything else is myown. The "K'Har-El" at the end of the poems is my taken name, though I also go by my given name "Zane ( ... )
