Was listenin to a panel by Wil Wheaton earlier today where he's talking about the "evil" characters he's played. He mentions that when he plays them it's like he's drawing on an "inner well of douchiness". Finally read through the wiki page on Consensus Decision making. Sounds interesting, but fairly complicated. A run through in a game over even one detail could take quite a while. While engaging myself in a "System Does Matter" debate (to try out different examples to see how well they fit) I ended up with the idea of a Sorcerer game set in a similar environment to L5R. A while back I found a modified Sorcerer character sheet on word press. Having now acquired acrobat, I made it a PDF form so I could keep track electronically. I'll be sending a copy to the original designer to post if he wants to.

I had the chance to thumb through the first couple chapters of this over the weekend.
I haven't felt this much excitement about playing a game in at least a year.
And I know that, other than one-shots at conventions, I'll probably never get to play it.

Thursday Night game
Been trying to get the thursday night game going since early December, and we've only had one successful session (with success defined as most of the group showing up).
