I've started drinking smoothies again (thanks, Mom, the blender stick is fantastic), but am trying very different recipes than the last time they were a staple of my diet. How are you with almond milk? Oat milk? Rice milk? I know that around here, they are all readily available in long-lasting tetrapaks so you can stock up.

I'm a big fan of beans as a non-animal protein source - not as an ingredient in smoothies, obviously. Combine them with grains, corn, or cheese, and you have a complete protein. There are so many varieties, it takes a long time to get bored with them. Did I tell you that Ezra has become a big fan of lentils? Who knew?
