listen, okay. i`m not mad. let me repeat this. I`M NOT MAD.
but.
i don`t like when underclassmen tell me to stop bitching about musical when i read it. i know some of you have done shows that are worse than this, i understand that. i`ve seen worse shows. but, you know, when you look forward for FOUR. YEARS. to something for it to be good and satisfying as it was before, you get so disappointed that it just shit on your face that you begin to resent every second you spent loving it.
no, this has nothing to do with the cast list, so stop being presumptuous pricks.
i mean we don`t have the fucking connection. we don`t have the flair or the passion(probably to blame on the upperclassmen being lackluster about the show and no leaders are willing to step out and be passionate). i KNOW a lot of us are not putting our time in, okay? so before you start telling anyone else to stop bitching, i want you to have accomplished what they did. no, i`m not telling you LOL BE A LEAD IN EVERY SHOW EVER AND YOU CAN ONLY TALK ONCE YOU ARE A SENIOR, but i am saying that you don`t understand. valley west musicals were good for a fucking reason. sure, there was drama. but do you know why? because people GAVE A SHIT, okay?
to those of you who aren`t being leaders: maybe i am not the picture perfect performer(especially in this show, i`m sorry, i`m not much for it) but shit. i may not have all the words but i`ll be damned if i don`t have a vague idea of where my notes are in the chords. YES, THE ENSEMBLE MUSIC IS SUPPOSED TO BE CHALLENGING. YES, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO LOOK AT IT OTHER THAN AT REHEARSAL, COCKWAD.
so if you want everyone to start giving a shit, i think seeing EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU starting to give a shit will help. no, i`m not talking in particular about the people who have said anything, because they care. i understand. i remember being there, actually giving a damn. but i think it`s time to sigh, throw in the towel and say "okay, since i decided i`m doing this shit, i have to start pulling it together."
