Elton John is apparently doing the music for the SF film version of "Pride & Prejudice" wherein they rename it "Pride and Predator" and just drop a Predator right into the middle of an Austen book. I expect it will be far superior to the original

I hated that book so hard. SO HARD that I might not even be able to watch it with predators.

i have gone out of my way to avoid that entire lit period / genre. not my cup of tea really. dipped my toes in with a couple edith wharton books, they sucked, i moved on.
