Ah don't sweat it. I go through life with the philosophy of "Everyone is out to get me." Then when other people are mean it only positively affirms my ideals. And if people are nice, hey that's a pleasant surprise!

Maybe the "bad" person in question is trying to get the "good" person to bring them up but being that they are "bad" they fail?
