I think I was actually tagged for this over two months ago (by none other than the lovely
xfunkydoryx) but never got around to finishing it. I recently (being a half hour ago) found it on my hard drive while deleting my old files and decided just to finish and post it.
1. When I’m cold, I flap my hands. When I was younger, I wore mostly my sister’s hand-me-downs, and they were always too big for me. I was too lazy to pull down the sleeves when I was cold, so I’d flap my hands and get the sleeves to fall over my hands and keep them warm. Now that I’ve grown, I don’t really need to, but it’s become more of an unconscious gesture. People have asked me quite a few times if I’m trying to fly.
2. I can’t have my feet on the ground. It bothers me. However, because my legs are rather long, I can’t cross them either. So, I lean back as far as I can, bend my knees, and try to find a point where my feet can be high as possible without being too awkward.
3. I mouth things I read/type. Apparently, I used to do so as a child when watching movies, and my sister was very much amused to discover I do so when reading.
4. I sit down in the shower. I can’t stand in one. I will point the shower head a bit towards the wall, sit down, and have the water rush over me. I think it might be because of my laziness, or it could be the fact that I mostly shower in cold water, thanks to the building I live in. I can’t stand to have water hit the top of my head first when it’s cold.
5. I can never put DVDs back in the appropriate cases. Say, I was watching Coupling earlier, and left it in the player, and now want to switch to Veronica Mars. I first take out the Veronica Mars boxset, and take out the disc I want to watch. Since there is an open space now, I would place the Coupling disc in the Veronica Mars boxset. I keep doing this until I can’t find anything and spend about an hour putting everything back in proper order.
