The Vampire Armand is quite good, I think. It's one of my favorites in the series and the only book I enjoyed post TotBT. As long as you sort of just...delete the end of it from your memory...Bleh Sybelle and Benji.

Yeah, I think I'll finish it, then. I've gotten pretty good at the whole, 'deleting stuff from my memory' thing. It's entirely necessary, considering the muck we, as fans, are forced to slag through for the sake of self-preservation (or, uh... preservation of what it is we enjoy about the series).

Thanks for the welcome! I've come across this community before, perhaps a year or so ago, and was immediately interested, no matter if activity comes in a constant stream or a sporadic trickle. You guys seem like great fun.

I like your comments about Lestat, and his appeal coming from his effect on the other characters - it's staggering when you look at how different their lives would have been without him...
