Wow - that sounds so awful! Every step of the way, a disaster. I would be so upset, I'm glad you wrote a letter! Are you going to send it to Queen Mary as well?

I might send one to the Queen Mary, but not sure if they’d even give it even a glance, as its a historical land mark and people are going to patronize the place no matter what bad reviews or complaints have been made, besides it was really Book-it that arranged everything and who we paid. Though I think I am going to post that letter as a review on most of the City Search/Travelocity type web sites. Just so others know what they are getting into.

geez!! What a lame ass hotel! Where is that hotel located in LA? We stayed at the Figuerora (sp?) hotel last time & it was COOL!

Its actually in Long Beach, which is about 45 minutes south of L.A.
I thought it would be fun to stay on a historical ocean liner, I didnt realize the service would be historical too. Plus it was a little closer to San Diego, which had been completely sold out of rooms for months.
Next time we go to Comic-Con I will just book a hotel well in advance in San Diego

yes, definitely steer clear of that Hotel. Though I would visit the ship itself again just for the history and stuff, but yeah dont use the hotel :)

That's pretty disappointing since I totally love that ship, we used to go there when I was kid all the time. I even saw a play there.

HA! I saw a magic show there when I was a kid, the guy even called me up on stage and put a sword through my neck. :)
