Almost back.

And now I find I might be able to bring a larger TV back. My uncle got a new one and said I could have the old one if it still works. Possibly a plus. Anyway, I have to get packing in a little bit, as I leave tomorrow and stop in Kimball for the night.

Kuju has much to answer for. I finally have gotten around to playing Fire Warrior right the way through, and they completely arsed up what could have been a great concept. Bad Kuju. On the plus side, however, there was another library book sale yesterday, so I have plenty of new reading material for a couple of months.

That's right. Just 7 until time to pack up and go.

And still here I wait. Finally got the info-packets in the mail from Sewanee, which was good, as I wasn't really sure when to arrive there for a while. Indeed, I am back. Returned safe and sound from England, after a brief stop in France (one afternoon, as we rode the Chunnel over. I was very glad to see my family, but it did get a bit ridiculous. I counted, and I have at least 15 first cousins on my Dad's side, and when they and their parents all get in one place, I think there's over 30 people ( Read more... )

Leaving for England tomorrow. Flying out of Dulles, which will be nice, as I like that airport. We seem to have our schedule already arranged for us, we've got a castle, an abbey, two museums, and several family gatherings scheduled. Should be good. It's finally been confirmed; we're going to England! Wooo. This will be nice. However it does mean driving to Washington. Again. Blasted inconvenient. That will be three trips to Washington in a fortnight. Shit, shit, shit, shit shit shit-shit-shitshitshit. Blast and damn. In other words, I am upset. We've had no word from Helen nor Andrew, both of whom live in London. Helen should've been on the other side of the Thames from the blasts, but Andrew works right in the Financial District. Time to go back to waiting.
