Why oh why is junior year so frustrating? I mean EVERYTHING gets harder. It's not like just intense school, it's like school, work, dance, looking at colleges, being social (which i am failing at), community service. I CAN'T HANDLE IT. and my mom is constantly telling me how disappointed she is. I wanna just explode at her, but what good will that

So basically, junior year is the worst year of high school. But you really have to remember your priorities and why they're so important to you. You're applying to some pretty tough schools next year..BUT...what would you rather have? Amazing memories of your high school years and all the fun you had doing what you love (ie dance, hanging out with friends, community projects etc) OR just a picture of your former self all frazzled sitting in your bedroom scrambling to hand in assignments? I know a lot of kids who worked really hard in high school and got rejected from their reach schools and are devastated. On the other hand, I know other kids who worked to their potential and had fun doing so and are getting a lot of acceptance letters and are just happy with life right now. I know your mom puts a lot of pressure on you to be the best you can be, but you have to remember what's important to YOU right now. I know where you're coming from, trust me. Between school, work, and the gym I hardly EVER see my friends and it's tough. But that'
