Yes, water seeks its own level, but the porn corrolary is that...wait...is there a porn corollary? Smut takes a dive for the worst. Smut in porn clothing. A story in porn is worth a two fucks in the bush.

Oh, beautiful. So light-hearted, yet with a certain undercurrent of heart-tugging that just makes this story. I can feel the security and strength of their connection.

Thanks! It's much harder to maintain that balance between humor and pathos that it looks. You don't want one to overwhelm the other, but you don't want to humor to slide completely into PWP land. Glad it worked. Speaking of weddings...another marriage arc coming soon?

Yeah, I hate it when I go away too, and I can't even imagine the size of your flist. AQm trying to think if you missed anything monumentally good, but I don't think so. When I run across something phenomenal, I usually rec it in my LJ.

Thanks for the kudos. You know I considered that blow job under the banquet table but realized that would be too plebian. Too predictable. Harry would expect that. So Draco had to do the backdoor thing.

Haven't done any Champions yet. That's next on the smut agenda. Still writing book, but slowly. Still don't have confidence in that arena. Curses. But critique group says new stuff is wow. I'll take their word for it. My writing compass in regards to that project is broken. Which is certainly part of the problem.

Am on amnesty as of today as BIG MEETING this week. Time to put on my kimono and be a geisha. Groan.
