I find a lot in common with my cats - and it's not the cat lady in me talking either! You see, my cats come off as cold and not caring. They don't like to be held either. But when they know someone they truly care about is hurt - they let go that tough guy act. It's usually the people who spend the most time with them that find this rather enduring

Noah's cat Mingo was like that. She never wanted to be bothered, and always kept to herself. But, when one of us was upset or fighting, she would come out of hiding and hang around us.
