trying to do a cafepress shop but i am clearly an idiot cos i have no fucking idea what i am doing. i domt' know how to edit the pics to fit on it, i have no idea how to make products properly. its crap!
BUT i can order as many items for myself as i want, with my own image, to then sell on at whitby and so on, so that's something.

shop is easy. its the image manipulation that's not! its easy to get a shop, upload a pic, choose the crap you want to sell, but to resize the image to fit it? no idea. then it talks about all sorts of image types it wants it to be, so many dots per something and im like?! *sob*
but altarus said he'd help me tomorrow, so if i get it, i can help you! :)

don't know about the workings of cafepress, but...

i'm guessing you're wanting to do cafepress for marketing in the US, but have you looked at the UK equivalent? I seem to remember hearing that transatlantic shipping for CafePress is prohibitive (like $56 for a mug or something ridiculous).

Check out eQuisto or T-Shirt Studio (they do mugs) for UK-ness.
