I really like the way you set this story up (the first line rocks!), as well as the mood. The recipe interspersed with the story brought us in and out of the universe in a nice way ... and I like how you established their prior relationship, just by this one line: “You always made my head turn at Hogwarts,” he said conversationally. “But you never noticed me.”

And mmmm, lemon cake. Yum! I'm a terrible cake maker, but this one was relatively easy. Thanks!

Ooh, yeah, I wanted to know how the cake turned out if you'd made it. I thought about apple pie, but that seemed kinda hard, so I was like, well, sponge cake is nice, too.

Thank you for the feedback! It's good to hear that :) I'm always going to say this is the fic that really helped me to start writing fluff :) Also, this was a lot of fun - are you going to make this an annual thing, or a holiday special, or?

I love pie, too! Cake and pie, yum. But I think it's harder to make good pies at home, because the crust is the most important part to me, and the ready-made crusts at the supermarket don't really cut it. So I prefer to buy them at a bakery.

I hope to make it an annual thing, but I think I should get some feedback first. I'll make a poll once all the stories have been posted and see if it would be worth doing again; if people enjoyed doing it, etc. I'm glad you participated! : )

Oh, SAME! I think the crust is always the best part because you get the crisp crust and the lining of the pie.

I liked the use of perfume and scents in this story (as I'm somewhat of a fragrance fanatic). Citrus is definitely Draco's scent, but what about Ginny?

*grins* Thanks! I love fragrances as well! Hmm, good question. For Ginny, I'd say - apple and rosewood? Not too sure, I think that's why I didn't mention it *sheepish*
