I adore this story! The D/G progression is quite believable -- we know Draco has a sweet tooth, and for some reason, I can see Ginny baking in the Hogwarts kitchens quite easily. :D This line made me laugh out loud:

“Something you buy would mean much more. It would mean you could buy it.”

So typically callous and oblivious Draco. He doesn't understand at all, does he? Obviously it's up to Ginny to teach him.

I have to say, I was skeptical about the molasses cookies at first, but it ended up being one of my very favorite recipes. Thank you for sharing!!
