*Put's hand up* Yeah I've been shit at keeping in contact, but its not just you I assure you. In fact you've received texts from me, infrequently I know but I haven't spoken to some people for years. There is no excuse for not keeping in touch more, but I have been exceedingly busy, though next time I'm down sarf i will definitely come by, it will probably be the Black Celebration festival (check one of my previous posts for info) would be great to catch up.

hey joi... alas people are bastards... i know exactly what you mean tho'.. the way i look at it these days is that situations and friendships change and evolve... some live, some die. Some friends stay with you ages. Some friends fuck you up when you least expect it. Some you think are dead and then a chance meeting years later fires it all up again.

Ultimately you can't force people to keep in touch... and as for those that fall by the wayside, believe me it's their loss. Look to new friends and new adventures. And stop working on Saturdays!! ;-D

i'm sorry, i shall try to get more Saturdays off. The thing is, Becky, the other barmaid can't do Saturdays as easily as she does Fridays (something to do with her kids) so its really difficult. i shall try to get onto it though. AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY: keep the whole weekend free for Drinks and Mayhem, as someone put it the other day...

I know this may sound crass but one thing I have learnt in my 31 years on the planet! Is don’t count on anyone then they can’t hurt you! You come into this world alone and you leave it alone!
LOL sorry I am feeling a bit depressed so maybe I shouldn’t share my views on friendships!

oops, life just keeps bowling me a wide ball whenever I plan to come and visit, am not going to promise, but will do my best to come down before my birthday. And your definatly not forgotten ;o)
