So I come today and get a letter from the UC system in the mail. here i am assuming it is going to be a 'dear ___insert your name here___" letter just saying that perhaps i might like to apply to their school because i was put on their mailing list

Hah I got that letter too. Except mine's like, "Although your school has mailed us your transcript, you are not in the top 4 percent, and do not get an automatic admission into the UC system. But you are still blahblahblah."
They just 'encourage me to apply'. Damn you, chemistry, for killing my gpa!

i got one that said i was in the top 5 percent and that i wasnt good enough to be accepted automatically but that they will send letters to any college i applied to telling them of my achievments blah blah blah.

haha. its cuz i suck at math.
