Anti-OTP: DEATH/Guildenstern, or anyone else who might like to drop by

Dec 01, 2006 19:34

As everyone knows, there's a lake near the Mansion. It's a nice, moderately large one, calm and full of fish (and larger creatures, of course, like Leviathan). Today, for obscure reasons of his own, DEATH is about on it, poling around in a small punt.

Yes, we're sorry: DEATH is on a boat.

For whatever reason, Guildenstern is out by the lake, when he sees DEATH on the boat. "So Death is not A boat, but Death can be ON a boat. Rosencrantz is still wrong. All the same, I don't think I'll be sailing anytime soon."

Typist: XD. that's awesome.

DEATH, or at least his cowl, looks up, fixing Guildenstern with what's probably a discomfiting stare, but hard to see under the (discomfiting?) black cloth. "IT'S QUITE NICE, REALLY." The words, of course, have that eerie quality of ending up in one's brain while seeming to bypass both the air and the ears.

Typist: Mwah. I can resist everything except oblique R&G references. >_>

Guildenstern is quite discomfitted, thank you very much. Not that he shows it however. "Being on a boat, or being dead?"

"I'VE NEVER TRIED THE LATTER." More quickly than it strictly ought, the punt's arrived at the shore, drawn up before him.
