So, like, Memlu and Rawles got my expectations up ridiculously high for Iron Man. I MEAN. IT PUT RAWLES ON THE EDGE OF HER SEAT AND FRIED MEMLU'S FREAK-OUT CORTEX WITH AWESOME

It was SO TRULY EXCEPTIONAL. And I love how it subverted so many Superhero tropes.

Iron Man set the bar really high for this summer (and possibly for the rest of the year). I'll be surprised if any other movie (yes, even Indian Jones and Batman) can meet its standards.

AGREED. My friends and I went and saw it last Friday, and were back for another round on Tuesday. It's just...eeeee. Reviewed it on my LJ a post or two back.
