I was thiiiiiiis close to writing Avatar and/or Spectacular Spider-Man meta tonight, but instead I give you this lazy substitute for actual content: a list of my current shows. Behold!
Top Tier: Current shows I'm FANNISH about!
- The Office. Wasn't the season 5 premiere perfect?!
- Sarah Conner Chronicles. Aka SUMMERBOT chronicles. (And wooooow, did you see episode 4 from yesterday? IT ROCKED MY WORLD soooo much).
- Spectacular Spider-Man. Season 2 doesn't air until March, BUT that also means it's technically a current show which means it gets to be on this list!
Good Tier: Shows I really, really like but don't inspire the same fervor!
- Chuck. It is GREAT fun, and really full of emotional heart! Loooooove it.
- Pushing Daisies. FUN AND QUIRKY. It was on tonight, right? I'll have to watch it online tomorrow.
Wishful Tier: Shows that I watch just because I wish it was better.
- Wolverine & the X-men. Ugh. I have nothing to say about this other than that it is admittedly better than most of season 1 of X-men: Evolution, but it's definitely not as good as the later seasons. Oh, and the most recent episode made me want to watch stories about Storm's life on the streets of Cairo.
Lulz tier: shows that I watch purely to BOGGLE at them and laugh at how terrible they are!
- Heroes. It switches back and forth between HAHAHA OH WOW WHAT WAS THAT and boring tedium.
Crap Tier: Guilty Pleasure shows that aren't good but I watch them anyway!
- Wizards of Waverly Place. Despite its terribleness as a typical Disney sitcom, I find it cute. And I really like all three of the main kid characters!
- Hannah Montana. I watch it for Oliver, basically.
Retired Tier: Shows no longer on TV (*SAD*) but I still feel Fannish about!
- Avatar: The Last Airbender. I'm sure this is a real shocker to everyone. =p
- Firefly. I recently had a series rewatch and it was AWESOME indeed.
- Even Stevens. I still find it inexplicably hilarious that Shia went on to become a SUPER HOLLYWOOD STAR.
- X-men: Evolution. It was my favorite cartoon ever until Avatar, and my favorite superhero cartoon until Spectacular Spider-Man.
How 'bout you, flist?
