We all know that everybody seems to tell everybody how to enjoy their movies/books/games/competitive disco crochet. One of the most annoying manifestations of this phenomenon takes place inside of that behemoth of a MMORPG, WoW! What people always seem to miss is that it's (1) a game, and that (2) people enjoy their games in completely different

if i ever played WOW I would chooe the one that I think is prettiest. seriously of all the things that to be shallow on, i find games pretty okay in the long run.

Your game sounds very much like mine. Though, for me, the pretty = Blood Elves. I do have a NE Druid who used to be my main before I switched factions. I still dust her off every once in a while because I like Druids. I never had any desire to roll a Tauren druid. Also, I'd like to do the Wrathgate quest line from the Alliance side. Which leads into...

I like lore and role playing, as well. Unfortunately, I don't have much chance to do the latter, being mostly a solo player. But I take advantage of the opportunity when my friends are on.

I love pets and mounts (fortunately, I don't have an particular aversion to undead and think the skeletal horses look pretty cool). In fact, the only reason I'm pugging right now is for the Pug. Sure, a chance to get better gear is nice, but that alone wouldn't have gotten me into an instance with four other random people. No, it had to be another pet.

In other words, I agree with you 99% ('cept for the whole undead thing :D) - I got to my job to work, I play WoW to have fun.

A big FUCK YEAH to all of this. At this point all of the characters I regularly play are BLOOD ELVES because I just love the way Blood Elves look! I like their animations! Also i too keep my bank BRIMMING with awesome outfits. Plus, my main, Milly, is a tailor so sometimes I will make stuff JUST BECAUSE IT'S PRETTY. There is this one set that I will never actually use in combat because it's like a pretty useless resist set that I don't need, but I made all the pieces and keep it because it's goooorgeous
