PART TWO of "Avatar Through the Eyes of a 7 Year Old"

Jul 09, 2010 21:53

I confess. I got lazy really quickly. I didn't write down any more comments that Jen and Drew made during Avatar.

Our watching has also been extremely sporadic. Some weeks we haven't watched it at ALL. Or today, we got to watch SEVEN episodes!

That is too adorable! I think I'm overdosing on fluffy good feelings!

Now I wish I had a seven year old to watch A:TLA with...

That is adorable! This makes me kind of want to introduce Avatar to my little cousins in a few years. They're 5 and 3 right now, and easily distracted, so I want to wait until they'll pay attention, because I want to see what their reactions are, lol.

Yeah, it's funny! Drew is 5 and his conclusion at the end of "The Avatar and the Firelord" was "So there are TWO Avatars now!"

So yeahhhh... Hahahaha his reactions are cute, but I enjoy Jen's reactions more because she understands it a lot better.

"Aang/Katara - she didn't say a word about Aang/Katara until "The Desert." About midway through the episode, when Aang was fuming about Appa (and Katara was acting concerned), she asked me with big concern, "But she still loves him, right?" Think about the implications of that statement. NO SERIOUSLY. THINK ABOUT THE IMPLICATIONS OF THAT QUESTION. Think about how it might reflect her perception of the episode, and the overall story. JUST SAYING.
And later she asked about why Aang didn't hug Katara (on the moonlit ledge in "The Serpent's Pass"). Because they love each other asdkasdfjkasdf." <--- This <3.

I wish I had little siblings/cousins that I could introduce A:TLA to... But this was sooo cuuuute~

That is ADORABLE.

I mean...just ADORABLE.

The whole "wanting Aang and Zuko to be friends" thing, the understanding of kindness, and the questions about Aang and Katara's love are pretty insightful for one so young. This show...this show does those kinds of things.

And the interest she has in the Dangerous Ladies meets my full approval. I just finished watching Crossroads...which means tomorrow starts the Mai/Zuko shipping! =D =D =D

And all the other epicness that is Season Three.
