I have to admit that thought crossed my mind as well.

She is the reincarnated spirit of the Earth.

He is the son of the last reincarnation of that spirit.

Together...they fight crime!

Korra was raised on the snow-plains of the Southern Water-Tribe, bless with the power of waterbending. Her life took a drastic turn when one day she discovers that she is...The Avatar! With the power to bend all 4 elements and see the spirit world with a single gaze!

Korra is now heading to "Republic City", the world's Mega Melting-Pot Metropolis! Here she hopes to find Tenzin, Son of the last Avatar and only true master of Airbending left in the world! What she finds is a city full of crime, hatered tword bender-kind, and a serious darth of hope.

Korra must master the power of air along with water, earth and fire while giving the people something to believe in!

Yep, Avatar is going from fantasy to semi-modern super-hero and it is good!

So if the original series was Star Wars, is this going to be the New Republic? Am I going to have to learn more about Star Wars to get all the references?

Is she going to be hot? Am I going to have a crush on her? Is it going to be sketchy?

I was actually doing a super-man/generic superhero nerraration.

As for the other questions...Will she be hot? I personally hope she's not conventionally pretty, but has her own thing going and rocks it. (which seems to be the case.)

Will you have a crush on her? Without knowing your sex or orientation, I'm going to say yes!

Is it going to be sketchy? Nope, Korra isn't wearing Sketchers, she's wearing Ugs.

I WOULD DIE. I THINK I WOULD LITERALLY FALL OVER AND DIE OF PURE AWESOME AND JOY. I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO HANDLE IT.
