Well, first off, the "heart" is the mind. You're just thinking either emotionally of beneficially.

You also must realize that logic is a mainstay. It is the best possible solution for you, and for the parties involved. It doesn't contort based on what you desire the outcome to be. The only way it may change is possibly your view of it, as it depends on your own perception to interpet it. Logically, setting out to change someone's perception is going to lose half of the argument for you, already, because people not only take offense to having their perception insulted, they also become defensive, which usually changes the argument into a hostile one.

I'm not exactly sure what you're so tourtured about, but whatever it is, you're sure mixed up about it.
