Yes, yes it was thinking about it.

He was told one of his children would over throw him, so he ate all his babies, his wife saw this and was horrified - wouldn't you be! the blood would stain the carpet!

So she hid the baby - Zeus, and fed Chronos a stone instead - of course the stone was covered in cloth so he would think it was a baby. Zeus grew up, killed him. Hail to Zeus!

That's Cronus, friend. Chronos is the personification of Time; born out of the primordial Chaos. And he was imprisoned in Tartarus.

We famously know Chronos as 'Father Time'. He's depicted with gray hair, long beard, staff, robe - the whole nine. 'Chronos' translated literally means 'Time'.
