It really stinks how elections are run. Most of the things I had to vote on today, were run uncontested. How can we do this, is it that bad, that people do not want to run against others. Isn't that the point of a two party system, so that one will go after the other. It is time to take this country back from the two parties that are in bed

If you're in a district where 75% of the population is Republican, what is the point of running as a Democrat? Or vice versa? The problem in these heavily leaning district is finding people who want to go through the incredible burden of a campaign for an office they are certain to lose.
