I was worried that might happen. While the sentence implies that I either considered, or dropped out of medical school, neither of those are the case.
Supposedly, I would have connections in the medical profession because of my mom (podiatrist), although what these connections are I'm not entirely certain.
As an afternote (apparently that's not a real word. Nonsense), I considered medical school long enough to reason, "I would not be any good at this. Blood is unpleasant, and people-insides are much worse. No thank you."
if you move to CT we have to have movie nights. By writing "Also, I would not be opposed to moving to CT" you have effectively given your implied consent to this.
