King Kong was awesome, and I'm not just saying it because Peter Jackson directed it. But like a good little fanboy, I went and saw it as soon as I could. The creature design was really impressive. Kong has as much personality as any of the actors in the movie (who did a great job themselves) without even talking, and the action sequences were

I got a free ticket to see the movie for buying the Jurrasic Park Trilogy. I actually really only like the first JP. I bought the trilogy for someone else, then decided it wasn't a worthy gift. I was going to return it 'till I saw the free ticket to Kink Kong on it. I figured with the 10 bucks I would be saving on a movie I was going to see anyway, it was worth keeping the 3 movies, even though I've only seen two and only really liked one. The whole set was only $20. The Lost World isn't THAT bad. Some parts of it are pretty cool.

So I will probably be seeing it this weekend. I have to go out tomorrow to buy people gifts. IT WILL BE HELL!. I am not looking forward to it at all. But it must be done. I hate that I wait 'till the last minute for all of this.
