Thunder!
Aah there's nothing like a little bit of ACDC during a thunder storm xD

It's a total cliché for a girl to be a afraid of thunder storms and I used to be one of those girls. I think when I was around 9 or 10 years old I decided to face my fear and instead of closing all windows and blinds and hiding under a blanket I closed myself in my bedroom and the only thing between me and the outside was the window. I watched the whole storm all by myself, I remember my mother was franticly looking for me knowing my fear all too well xD that was when she first called me crazy... at least the first time I remember xDD
I still didn't completely overcome my fear then, it was actually three years ago when I was watching a storm with friends and one of them (that is one of the people that inspired me to try photography) asked me to stand by the window so he could catch my silhouette with the storm as a background. I think I was even more terrified than all those years before because I was glued to the window xDD but it was then that I really looked at the possibilities of a thunder storm and how beautiful it can be. Now, every time a storm approaches the first thing I do is grab my camera and go to an open window to take pictures xD

And after the feature in that portuguese magazine, I feel inspired to do a some portrait photography too! Now... models xD
Just me for the moment, I guess ^^;
I didn't take many pictures but I did something that will help me out doing some awesome portraits. What essential for a good portrait? The light of course.
The only thing missing here is the mirror xD The first time I saw this kind of lighting was on YouTube, where a guy built something like this and instantly loved the effect!
That's the lighting effect it has on eyes, it's beautiful! (no not the color and black and white it's those little dots xD)
I don't usually say I love my eyes but I can't help but to love them in this picture xD and it was the first time in my life that I liked taking pictures to myself xD Call me insane but I built that thing and it works very well! I can wait to try it again with someone else!
