Hey, there ^^
Ok, first of all this is... a HUGE step for me. Like... big.
I've never really been very comfortable in my own skin but I'm trying to prove the contrary every day. After I've seen a very simple video that showed one of Ira Glass's talks, he said:
"For the first couple years you make stuff, it’s just not that good. It’s trying to be good, it has potential, but it’s not. But your taste, the thing that got you into the game, is still killer. And your taste is why your work disappoints you."
I want to believe I'm this xD I hope I'm something like this and because I want to know I'm on the right direction, I'm posting this video.
What's funny is that these past few weeks, I've been banging my head against the walls trying to record something decent, planed, programmed and clean. It didn't happen, it's taking soooo damn long that I'm losing hope. Before I gave up, I went back to my old way to make music, I just placed the small recorder on the floor, mounted the loop pedal and went crazy to create right there and then a cover version of Fever by Peggy Lee. It gave me so much energy! Yesterday night, I mounted the camera and voilá, made this video. It has many flaws, but someday it won't have as many, you'll see :D
Hope you enjoy :)
Truth is... I'm so glad I finally had the guts to do it xD
