I just read your episode review, and what you said fits perfectly with my thoughts on the season 3 premiere of White Collar. ;o)

As to The Glades, I actually liked the season 2 premiere, but I liked episode 2x02 way better than 2x01. 2x02 was possibly the best Glades episode so far. I like it when things get personal and emotional, and that Jim/Callie hug was just made of win.
