On Friday night some of us teachers went to the Robin Hood and The Bull's Head for a few pints of Kilkenny after work to celebrate the 2 day weekend (no class on Saturday morning!). The food was just as good as usual at RH, wih me ordering the hamburger with extra liver and bacon and the jukebox at BH more than satisfactory.

I saw Superman on Sunday at the IMAX theatre. It was good to see a movie at IMAX for a change. I miss seeing all the major features on Queen Street. Tickets for movies are stupidly cheap here for some reason. The basic ticket starts at around four New Zealand dollars although now there's this new expensive shopping mall, where they're showing ( Read more... )

Saturday afternoon was spent at Mister Donut sampling the products and customer services of two of it's counters at The Mall Bangkapi. this was followed by similar sampling at Baskin Robbins.
