so, i bought the modulator thing, or whatever its called for the car. you plug one end into the cigarette lighter, and then the other into the bottom of the ipod. and its supposed to play your ipod songs thru your radio. well it does work and it is really cool. its staticy and sometimes it goes in and out. like it will randomly switch over to the

do you have a tape player in your car?

because if so, then i'd just get one of those tape adapters. those work the best because you don't have to mess with the radio & such. it will always come in clear. it's what i always used in my mom's car.

but if not, then yeah, i'd go with what meagan said cuz you don't have to have an adapter specifically made for your ipod. as long as the thing plugs into the headphone area & doesn't need to plug into anything else, then it's fine.

if i were you, i'd return the expensive one and just get another one that's cheaper somewhere else. i got mine for like $25 at costco and it works fine. it's probably not as good as the one you have now, but if it's really not that big of a deal to you, i don't think the $25 is that much to waste on it :)
