...Yeah, you pretty much covered all the bases. All I can really add is a resounding "I concur."

And the "green" stuff we're trying, if it would even work, would pretty much have to be "all or nothing" in the first place to even make a difference. That's obviously not going to happen. A lot of that is utter shit to begin with - ooh! Ethanol! Run your car on corn! Oh wait, that means the price of corn as a FOOD will go up. But at least we'll be able to drive GREEN, right?!

What we need is more nuclear power, it's the only source that can realistically replace fossil fuels on a massive scale. Too bad people are fucking terrified of it because one Soviet piece-of-shit reactor blew up over twenty years ago due to the incompetence of the workers.

Unless the OMG ATOMS crowd shuts the fuck up and lets us build more reactors we're gonna keep living in fairyland where a little corn, wind and sunlight will fix everything.
